Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Annotation Ops Kit ("we", "us") collects when you visit annotationopskit.com or buy the kit, and how it is used. We collect as little as we can.
Who we are
Annotation Ops Kit is a small independent publisher that sells under its brand name rather than personal names. Orders are processed by Gumroad (see below). Buyers can reach us through their Gumroad receipt.
What we collect
- Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views, including visits to the short
/go/pages that sit in front of the checkout and "see the kit" buttons. It does not set cookies. Cloudflare records basic details of each visit, such as the page, the referring site, your country, and your browser and device type, and shows them to us only as totals. We cannot see who you are from it. - Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Purchases. Checkout is run by Gumroad, which collects your name, email, billing details and payment details to process the order, collect any sales tax or VAT, and send your receipt and download. We receive your name, email, order details and, if you enter them, your company and VAT ID. We never see your full card number. See Gumroad's privacy policy.
- Messages you send us. If you contact us about an order, we keep the message so we can answer it and handle refunds or invoices.
What we don't collect
- No email is required to use the free calculator.
- The free calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us.
- We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or retargeting, and we don't send marketing emails.
How we use it
We use order information to deliver the files, provide support, process refunds, keep tax and accounting records, and enforce the license. We use analytics totals to see which pages are useful. We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it except with the services named above that run the site and checkout, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep support emails as long as needed to answer them and handle any follow-up.
Your choices and rights
If you bought the kit, you can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us through your Gumroad receipt. If you only visited the site, we hold no personal information about you beyond the aggregate analytics described above. Some order records must be kept for legal reasons even after a deletion request. If a privacy law where you live gives you further rights, contact us through your Gumroad receipt and we'll respond.
Children
The kit is a business tool for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
